Application for registration.—Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall make an application for registration to the River Basin Authority in Form C, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees and a statement of every water course held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
