Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the requesting entity shall apply to the Certifying Authority in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Certifying Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
