Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the distiller shall apply to the Collector in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Collector shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
