Application for registration.—Every insurance intermediary carrying on the business of an insurance intermediary shall make an application for registration to the Insurance Ombudsman in Form IRDA-5, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees and a statement of every register held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
