Definitions.—In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992); (b) "depository participant" means a person carrying on the business of a depository participant; (c) "rating" means a rating received, held or disposed of by a depository participant in the course of the business of a depository participant; (d) "Form H" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
