Application for registration.—Every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall make an application for registration to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment in Form E, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees and a statement of every defence work held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for thirty days from that date.
