Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the contractor for defence works shall apply to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
