Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a cattle pound shall apply to the District Collector in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the District Collector shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
