Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Drugs Controller in the custody of the Drugs Inspector, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Drugs Controller; and where the Drugs Inspector having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 19 within fourteen days of the succession.
