Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the kazi shall apply to the Registrar General in Form IV for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Registrar General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
