Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the lessee of defence land shall apply to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
