Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the developer executing agreements for sale shall apply to the Inspector General of Registration in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Inspector General of Registration shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
