Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the proprietor shall apply to the Registrar of Geographical Indications in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Geographical Indications shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
