Surrender of certificate.—Every master who ceases to carry on the command of a ship shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Inland Waterways Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 7 of the manner in which every berth held by him has been disposed of.
