Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Museum Board in the custody of the Deputy Superintending Archaeologist, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Museum Board; and where the Deputy Superintending Archaeologist having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form VI within ninety days of the succession.
