Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the guardian appointed by the court shall apply to the Central Adoption Resource Authority in Form VII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Central Adoption Resource Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
