Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the author shall apply to the Controller in Form TM-A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty thousand rupees, and the Controller shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
