Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a cattle pound shall apply to the Director of Panchayats in Form 6 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the Director of Panchayats shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
