Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the person converting agricultural land shall apply to the Tahsildar in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Tahsildar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
