Surrender of certificate.—Every dealer in weights and measures who ceases to carry on dealing in weights and measures shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Controller in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form E of the manner in which every verification certificate held by him has been disposed of.
