Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the citizen shall apply to the Citizenship Committee in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Citizenship Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
