Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the bailiff shall apply to the Bar Council in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Bar Council shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
