Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a building near a defence work dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment in Form G, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register then held; and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment shall enter the intimation in the register within three days of its receipt.
