Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the secured creditor shall apply to the Deposit Insurance Corporation in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees, and the Deposit Insurance Corporation shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
