Application for registration.—Every lessee carrying on the holding of immovable property on lease shall make an application for registration to the District Registrar in Form 3, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees and a statement of every register of documents held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and twenty days from that date.
