Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any seller of goods on an electronic platform dies, his legal representative shall, within forty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Director of Legal Metrology in Form H, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every weighing instrument then held; and the Director of Legal Metrology shall enter the intimation in the register within fourteen days of its receipt.
