Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Chief Controller of Explosives in the custody of the Station House Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Chief Controller of Explosives; and where the Station House Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form VII within fourteen days of the succession.
