Rule 2, Uttarakhand Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (Forms) Rules, 2015 [S3G-6M6]

Definitions.—In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957); (b) "mortgagee of agricultural land" means a person carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land; (c) "record of rights" means a record of rights received, held or disposed of by a mortgagee of agricultural land in the course of the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land; (d) "Form 12" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
