Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of a public office shall apply to the Review Committee in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Review Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
