Application for registration.—Every company secretary in practice carrying on the practice as a company secretary shall make an application for registration to the Serious Fraud Investigation Office in Form INC-1, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every statement of affairs held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
