Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a ferry shall apply to the Conservator of the Port in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Conservator of the Port shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
