Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the trader within a cantonment shall apply to the Cantonment Board in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Cantonment Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three days of the application.
