Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the borrower shall apply to the Reserve Bank in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Reserve Bank shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
