Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the bank conducting Government business shall apply to the Comptroller and Auditor-General in Form GFR 22 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Comptroller and Auditor-General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
