Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any contractor engaged by a Panchayat dies, his legal representative shall, within ninety days of the death, intimate the death to the Director of Panchayats in Form 8, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register of buildings then held; and the Director of Panchayats shall enter the intimation in the register within ninety days of its receipt.
