Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the passport holder shall apply to the Citizenship Committee in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Citizenship Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
