Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a common service centre shall apply to the Director of Panchayats in Form 6 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Director of Panchayats shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
