Safe custody.—Every mine surveyor shall keep every transit pass to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the survey of mines is carried on, shall record in Form F the description of every transit pass so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Regional Controller of Mines within three hundred and sixty-five days of the close of each year.
