Surrender of certificate.—Every holder of benami property who ceases to carry on the holding of property in the name of another shall, within three hundred and sixty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Collector in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 3 of the manner in which every instrument held by him has been disposed of.
