Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the employer of inter-State migrant workmen shall apply to the Licensing Officer in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Licensing Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
