Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment to the post of Joint Nautical Surveyor in the Ports Department, Government of Assam shall be by promotion, failing which by direct recruitment; the age limit for direct recruits shall be thirty-two years, relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time; and the essential qualification shall be a Bachelor's degree from a recognised University with three years' experience in the relevant field.
