Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the registered person shall apply to the proper officer in Form GST DRC-03 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the proper officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
