Clause 2, Maharashtra Rent Control (Apartment Control) Order, 2010 [S39-2RR]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999 (Maharashtra Act 18 of 1999); (b) "tenant" means a person carrying on the occupation of premises; (c) "occupancy certificate" means a occupancy certificate received, held or disposed of by a tenant in the course of the occupation of premises; (d) "Form D" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
