Clause 2, Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling (Sample Control) Order, 2009 [S37-WDZ]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976 (Goa Act 14 of 1976); (b) "sponsor of a competition" means a person carrying on the sponsoring of a competition; (c) "register of athletes" means a register of athletes received, held or disposed of by a sponsor of a competition in the course of the sponsoring of a competition; (d) "Form A" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
