Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a private drain shall apply to the Municipal Council in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Municipal Council shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
