Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a level crossing road shall apply to the Commissioner of Railway Safety in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Commissioner of Railway Safety shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
