Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the lessee shall apply to the Regional Controller of Mines in Form J for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Regional Controller of Mines shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
