Surrender of certificate.—Every point of sales person who ceases to carry on the sale of insurance products at a point of sale shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Insurance Information Bureau in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IRDA-6 of the manner in which every cover note held by him has been disposed of.
