Application for registration.—Every contractor for canal works carrying on the execution of canal works shall make an application for registration to the Canal Officer in Form C, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees and a statement of every dispute held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
