Surrender of certificate.—Every contractor for canal works who ceases to carry on the execution of canal works shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Canal Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form B of the manner in which every source of water held by him has been disposed of.
